What it does

XTest™ validates every part before it ships. We integrate the leak tester, fixture your part, and handle everything around the test: clamping, sealing, marking, rejects and data.

Common questions

What kinds of parts can XTest™ handle?

Parts that need to hold pressure or flow to a spec — for example the electrical and automotive coolant-system parts in our case studies. Nests and tooling are designed around your part and can run multiple models with quick-change tooling.

What happens to a failed part?

Your choice. On the XTest™ we built for an electrical manufacturer, failed parts are clamped in the nest until a supervisor logs in to release them. Other machines divert rejects to an interlocked bin.

Can test results be saved for traceability?

Yes. Test data collection is standard, and results can be tied to part marking or serial numbers.

How long does an XTest™ take to build?

It depends on the part and options. Our 4-up XTest™ for an electrical manufacturer went from order to turnkey machine in 16 weeks.
