Can you upgrade a machine without replacing the mechanics?

Yes. Often the frame and mechanics are fine and only the controls are obsolete. We replace the panel, PLC, HMI and drives, update the drawings and re-commission the machine.

Do you migrate MicroLogix and SLC 500 programs to CompactLogix?

Yes. We convert and clean up the logic, update the I/O and HMI, and test before cutover to minimize downtime.

How do you minimize downtime during a retrofit?

We build and test the new panel in our shop, plan the cutover around your schedule and bring the program pre-tested.

What should we do right now to reduce risk on old PLCs?

Back up every program, check or replace memory batteries, and document what you have. A dead PLC battery once took a wastewater facility down for 15 hours.
